OUR HOTELS FAVIGNANA (Egadi Islands - Sicily) -
The Grand Hotel Approdo di Ulisse Resort & SPA is situated directly on the marvelous south western coast of Faviganana, the main island of the Egadi archipelago. Favignana, one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean Sea, has dramatic cliffs, white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. The Hotel is located on a splendid private beach and is equipped with sports equipment, all day entertainment, mini-club, and a small health and beauty center. The accommodations are immersed in a typical Mediterranean country side with two unique lay-outs: 70 one-level cottages with a garden-view veranda and 6 two leveled bungalows. They are equipped with telephones, safes, hairdryers, mini-bars, televisions, air conditioning and ceiling fans. The resort includes a bar, restaurant, boutique, pool, amphitheatre, outdoor discotheque and four lit tennis courts. The panoramic restaurant with a beautiful terrace facing the sea serves a buffet-style breakfast featuring the delicious Sicilian specialties, wide selection of appetizers, first dishes, second dishes, fresh vegetables and desserts. On the splendid beach you can find as well the second restaurant. House wine and mineral water are included at lunch and dinner time. The dock is situated a short distance from the hotel where you can organize excursions to the beautiful Egadi Islands. Evening activities include: dancing, piano and guitar bar, outdoor discotheque, cabaret and other performances at the amphitheatre area. There are two restaurants at the Approdo di Ulisse Resort. The first one is located in the hotel's atrium with a panoramic terrace. The other one is on the beach. Sport activities include: soccer, swimming, canoeing, gymnastics, aquatic aerobics, archery, windsurfing, dancing, bocce ball, ping-pong, volleyball, basketball and spinning. There is also a SPA center for beauty treatments.
