Let us whisk you away on this unique tour. All you have to do is unpack your luggage, unwind from your journey, and begin enjoying …“La Dolce Vita” while staying in our four star Grand Hotel Villagio dei Pini Resort & Spa. The natural beauty of the area has not been spoiled by high rise buildings, hotel chains, fast food restaurants and huge crowds. The buffet-style lunches (L) and dinners (D) will include mineral water. Breakfast (B) will be continental style. Boxed lunches will be prepared by our hotel for each full day optional tour.

Day 1 – Sat - Depart from your city to Alghero.

Day 2 – Sun – Alghero - Arrive in Alghero’s airport and transfer to our four star Grand Hotel Villagio dei Pini Resort & Spa. Our tour bus will depart at approximately 12:00 PM. The exact time will be communicated with the final documents. (Transfer for different dates and times will be at your expense). A welcome cocktail will be served upon arrival. This resort has 700 yards of private beach and is nestled between 20 hectares of pristine pine woods in the charming Asinara Bay. The hotel also boasts an indoor health and beauty center with mud treatments, massage, inhalation therapy, and other beauty treatments. The center also has a covered semi-olympic swimming pool with thermo-mineral water, 4 hot water baths with waterfalls as well as hydro-massage. Beach umbrellas and chairs are provided to our guests free of charge. It is the ideal place for those who want to enjoy nature, sea, sport activities, entertainment or just relax. This hotel/resort will be our home away from home for the next 7 nights. (L & D)

Day 3 – Mon – Free Day - Soak up the sun on our beautiful beach, enjoy the swimming pool and all the outdoor activities or just do absolutely nothing and reinvigorate yourself in our state of the art health and beauty center. (B, L & D)

Day 4 – Tue – Alghero - Full day optional tour 1 - Today we will visit Alghero. In 1102 the Doria family founded this city destined to become one of the most important fortress cities of the Mediterranean. This city is now a tourist town, a flourishing fishing port, and famous for its coral jewelry as well as carvings. The Church of San Francis, in the old town section, is Alghero’s most beautiful church. We will continue to Capo Caccia, renowned for the spectacular caves. The most famous is Neptune’s Grotto reachable by descending “Escala del Cabirol” (goat’s steps). Another attraction worth visiting is Nuraghe Palmavera (enigmatic prehistoric construction) before returning to our beautiful hotel. (B, L & D)

Day 5 – Wed – Maddalena – Porto Cervo - Full day optional tour 2 - The Archipelago of Maddalena comprises seven main islands with enchanting bays, secluded white sandy beaches caressed by warm, clean, transparent sea water with incredible shades from green to turquoise to blue. We will have a panoramic view of Costa Smeralda, voted Europe's best beach in 2007. In the heart of these 40 miles of spectacular coastline is Porto Cervo, architecturally designed by the Aga Khan and now established as a world-class harbor visited by the most beautiful yachts of the world. Porto Cervo is undoubtedly a Mecca of fashion designers, boutiques, jewelers, world class restaurants, and frequented by celebrities, royalty and millionaires. (B, L & D)

Day 6 – Thu – Stintino - Half day optional tour 3 – Today we will visit Stintino, a small and picturesque fishing village in the Gulf Asinara. Worth visiting are the ancient port and the local market before continuing to the unique “Pelosa” beach; its sugar white sand makes this beach similar to a tropical place rather than a Mediterranean one. Relax on the beach, walk hand in hand in the gentle sea breeze, watch the sunset, and enjoy the exhilarating scenery. (B, L & D)

Day 7 – Fri – Sassari – Castelsardo - Full day optional tour 4 - In Sassari we will visit the archaeological museum Sanna and the Duomo of San Nicola. The museum displays items dating back to prehistoric times of the Neanderthal Man. Castelsardo, known for the craftsmanship of baskets and lobster traps made of woven vegetal fibers, is a very medieval town ringed by walls still intact. Alongside the road we will stop to photograph the “Elephant Rock", a prehistoric tomb shaped like an elephant by the atmospheric agents. (B, L & D)

Day 8 – Sat - Free day - Relax, relax and… relax in our beautiful resort on this very special island which will leave you with lifelong memories. (B, L & D)

Day 9 - Alghero - 7:00 AM group transfer to Alghero’s airport. (Transfer will be at your expense for different dates and times). Have a safe return home, treasure the memories…..grazie and arrivederci a presto! (B)

Prices are per person based on double/triple/quadruple occupancy. An additional 50% premium will be applied for single occupancy. Children under 12 staying in the room with 2 parents receive a 50% discount.

Optional tours as described, admission fees to museums, galleries etc. are not included.

The package price of all 4 optional tours is $ 299.

For the Full Day Optional Tours we will provide a travel lunch bag.
