Bay of Naples Regional Italy Tours:

Day 2 – Naples & Ischia -We are met in Naples and transferred to the lovely Island of Ischia. We will settle in and enjoy the views of our Grand Hotel**** Ischia & Lido Resort & SPA. (D) Day 3 – Ischia - We will take a motor-coach tour of Ischia, a volcanic island in the Tyrrhenian Sea, at the northern end of the Gulf of Naples famous for its thermal spas. The afternoon is free to explore the shops or enjoy the pool and beaches. (B, L & D)
Day 5 - Ischia - Today we will be devoted to enjoying Ischia's finest spa, Poseidon Gardens Resort. The spa offers a choice of 20 thermal pools featuring different temperatures, natural saunas, thermal beauty centers and a sandy beach. Poseidon Gardens will give us the immediate sensation of vital harmony thanks to the natural surroundings whose healing and beneficial powers contribute to a feeling of balance and well-being. (B, L & D) Day 6 – Amalfi & Positano - We will visit the world famous Amalfi Coast, thought by many to be the most beautiful stretch of scenery in the entire Mediterranean. We will visit two of the area's best-loved resorts with a mini-cruise to Amalfi the main town of the coast that lies at the mouth of a deep ravine surrounded by dramatic cliffs and coastal scenery, and Positano that sits in an enclave in the hills leading down to the coast. Day 8 – Caserta - Caserta Reggia… the Bourbon kings' castle that rivals Versailles, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the most visited monuments in the country. In it you can find more than 1200 rooms, decorated in various styles. It has been the set for famous movies, the first three episodes of Star Wars and St. Peter's cathedral in Mission Impossible III. The park is 2 miles long and contains many waterfalls, lakes and gardens, as the very famous English gardens. Caserta Vecchia is the ancient centre of the commune and former bishopric seat. (B & D) Day 9 –Sorrento - A short walk to the port and… mini-cruise on our way to the best-loved resorts: Sorrento, the lemon-scented jewel of the peninsula. Free full day in Sorrento to shop for the local specialty inlaid carving (intarsia), to enjoy the best views of the enchanting bay of Naples or to have lunch and wine in a local trattoria. Back to Ischia for a quick swim or relaxation in the spa before dinner at the hotel. (B & D) Day 10- Pompeii & Naples - We will have an early departure this morning to a professionally guided tour of Pompeii. The city was dug out from the blanket of ash and stones that covered it after the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD and gives us the breathtaking window into what life was like in Roman times. In late afternoon we will have a motor tour of Naples before transferring to our hotel in Naples. Although Naples is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and rich in history and monuments, it is sometimes overlooked by mass tourism and is less visited than other Italian cities. There are, however, many attractions within the city. Naples has 448 historical churches. (B & D) Day 11- Naples - Transfer to Capodichino Airport in Naples, have a safe return home, treasure the memories and….Grazie and arrivederci a Presto! Day 4 - Capri - Today we take a mini-cruise to the island of 
Day 7 - Ischia - We will learn about Ischia history on our walking excursion to Castello Aragonese. The Aragonese Castle (Castello Aragonese, Ischia Ponte) was built in 474 BC on a rock near the island. At the same time, two towers were built to control enemy fleet's movements. The castle offers superb views from its fortress like walls. On the way back we will stop to a wine cellar to taste the delicious wine of Ischia. (B, L & D)
