All you have to do is unpack your luggage and begin enjoying your vacation with breathtaking views while exploring this scenic and exhilarating bay. The buffet-style lunches (L) and dinners (D) will include mineral water. Breakfast (B) will be continental style.
Day 1 - Sat - Depart from your city to Naples, Italy.
Day 2 - Sun - Naples & Ischia -We are met in Naples (airport or train station) and transferred to the lovely Island of Ischia. We will settle in and enjoy the views from our 4 star Grand Hotel**** Ischia Lido Resort & SPA. This Hotel will be our home away from home for the next 7 days. (D)
Day 3 - Mon - Ischia – Today we will take a motor-coach tour of Ischia (The Green Island), an incredibly beautiful volcanic island and the largest off the coast of Naples. It is the most important SPA destination in Europe due to its riches in natural resources with a unique supply of hot springs, spas, volcanic mud and valuable minerals, thus healing and renewal have become a resource for its economic recovery and found its zenith as a center of well being for countless visitors. Day 4 - Tue - Capri - Today, after a short walk to the port, we will take a mini-cruise to the island of Capri, “Island of the Sirens” from Greek mythology. A funicular will carry us up to Piazza Umberto I. The world-famous “Piazzetta” lined with luxury boutiques, expensive restaurants and cafes, and with paparazzi chasing celebrities. The dramatic coast of the island is characterized by numerous creeks, tiny coves and caves, crystal clear waters with a kaleidoscope of flora and fauna. Features of the island include: Marina Piccola, Belvedere of Tragara, Faraglioni (rugged rocks jutting up from the sea), Anacapri, Blue Grotto and the ruins of the Imperial Roman villa “Jovis”. Capri was a favored resort of the Roman emperors. (B & D)
Day 5 - Wed - Sorrento - A short walk to the port and then on a mini-cruise to the best loved resorts: Sorrento, known as the lemon-scented jewel of the peninsula, land of colors and fragrances. Sorrento exemplifies the Italy of our imagination! It has inspired poets, writers, artists and song writers since Roman times. Free full day in Sorrento to shop, to enjoy the best views of the enchanting bay of Naples or to have lunch and wine in a local trattoria. Typical products of Sorrento are: Limoncello and Wood Intarsia. Then back to Ischia for a quick swim or relax in the spa before dinner at the hotel. (B & D)
Day 6 - Thu - Amalfi - Positano - This morning, after breakfast and a short walk to the port, we will embark on a mini-cruise to the enchanting Amalfi Coast, thought by many to be the most beautiful stretch of scenery in the entire Mediterranean. This stretch of coastline will carve a special place in your heart! A landscape masterpiece, it is a “vertical village” that really seems to be standing, leaning against a rocky wall. We will visit two of the areas best-loved resorts and spend approximately 2 hours in each place. Amalfi the coast’s main town, a precious gem of this intoxicating region, lies at the mouth of a deep ravine surrounded by dramatic cliffs and coastal scenery; Positano is a village dangerously perched in an enclave on the hill leading down to the Mediterranean coast. Positano has contributed to the revival of the entire Amalfi coast. (B & D)
Day 7 - Fri - Caserta - The Caserta Reggia, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, rivals Versailles and Escorial. This castle is one of the most visited monuments in the country. In it you can find more than 1200 rooms, decorated in various styles. It has been the set for famous movies, the first three episodes of Star Wars and St. Peter's cathedral in Mission Impossible III. The park is 2 miles long and considered one of the most beautiful gardens in the world. It contains many waterfalls, lakes, gardens and, during the summer months stages the successful show “Routes of Light”. Caserta Vecchia is the ancient center of the commune and former bishopric seat. Day 8 - Sat - Pompeii - Pompeii was destroyed during a catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Pompeii, as we know it today, was discovered during an excavation that began in March 1748. From then on excavations have continued and research teams are still attempting to reveal the mysterious city's secrets. What happened in 79 AD preserves a treasury of information about life in the ancient Roman Empire. Several important clues were left behind. These clues give us a little glimpse into the past. A professional guide will give insights in to the life during Roman times. (B & D)
Day 9 - Sun - Naples - Transfer to Naples Capodichino airport. Have a safe return home, treasure the memories and….Grazie and arrivederci a Presto! (B)
