Your lunches (L) and dinners (D) buffet style will include house wine and mineral water when you are at Grand Hotel**** Dei Pini Resort & SPA. Breakfasts (B) will be continental style.

Day 1 - Departure from your city to Sardinia

Day 2 – Platamona - We will be picked up at Alghero Airport and transferred to our Grand Hotel**** Dei Pini Resort & SPA in Platamona (Sassari), Golfo dell' Asinara, in a magnificent 20 hectare pine wood, overlooking a golden sandy beach. (D)

Day 3 – Alghero - Today we will visit Alghero. In 1102 the Doria family founded Alghero, creating a fortified city destined to become, from around 12th century, one of the most important fortress cities of the Mediterranean. In 1354 when Alghero came under Catalan rule, the Sardo-Genoese fortress became an important Catalan stronghold, which, after 4 centuries of domination left its mark on the culture and history of the city. The monuments, the churches of the old city surrounded by imposing towers and walls, such as the noble palaces and in particular Santa Maria cathedral and the Church of San Fancesco, all demonstrate the Catalan style of the city. Day 4 – Maddalena - The Archipelago of Maddalena puts up the national Park of the same name, constructed in 1996 for the protection of fauna and flora. La Maddalena is the only island of the archipelago that presents a steady urban settlement. You can admire the sea side with the typical line of XVIII century buildings and the baroque parish of S. Maria Maddalena. There are well maintained steps and narrow alleys that give a unique image to the historic centre. In the past it used to be utilized as a prison. (B & D)

Day 5 – Asinara - We will see the Asinara Island today. It has the most beautiful coasts, peaks vertically over the sea. The Asinara Island was the object of pirate raids. Being a nature reserve, we can find several rare species, among them the almost extinct famous albino donkey. We will travel by bus once we are on the island, from Fornelli to Cala d'Oliva. We will stop in the most important historical picturesque areas. (B & D)

Day 6 – Nuraghi - We will depart from our hotel to visit the Valley of the Nuraghi Museums and Reggia Nuraghe of Santu Antine of Tirralba, one of the most important neuralgic complexes of Sardinia dated from the XV century B.C. Next we will visit the popular tourist destination of the Basilica of St. Peter of Sorres. (B & D)

Day 7 – Stintino - Today we will visit Stintino, founded in 1885 by Sardinia farmers and fishers of Genoa. The first stop will be the local market and the picturesque ancient port. Later we will be escorted to the famous beach ''La Pelosa''. (B & D)

Day 8 – Costa Smeralda, Olbia & Porto Cervo - Today we will be in the very famous and stunning Costa Smeralda. Our first stop will be in the town of Olbia, one of the most important ports in Sardinia, and then a granite stone will welcome us to Costa Smeralda. We will go along the coast passing by the wonderful Cala di Volpe and Romazzino to reach the famous Porto Cervo, the town of the 'VIPS‘. Next we will go to Baja Sardinia and its panoramic terrace, then all along the coast to Palau and the famous stone Roccia dell'Orso the ''Bear Stone''. On the way back we will have a brief stop in Castelsardo, situated on a rocky, rugged foundation that still has its original medieval walls, defending against possible attacks from the sea. (B & D)

Day 9 - Alghero - Transfer to Alghero Airport, have a safe return home, treasure the memories and …Grazie and arrivederci a presto! (B)
